Real question:

Pardon my name, but have a real question.
Kid going to private school, signed contract, paid deposit. Now we decide not to go. But school asking for full year tuition, saying it is in the contract, and we didn't withdraw before deadline.

Is there anyway to break this, or get away by paying less? very substantial amount.
