In your case, I think what you could do is straightforward, having an urgent hearing in court and determine a tempareory child support and visitation plan. I don't think you could get custody easily because it is your current arrangement since your separation.
You should talk with your lawyer to get the hearing scheduled asap, all other thing could be done later, depending on how much money you want to spend in this case.
