咨询用Social Security check 买车

我在卖一辆车，有人写email给我，我不太懂这个Social Security check .

I have a Social Security
check and am about to get an alimony check from my ex. I will assign my
Social Security benefits to buy your car. This a guaranteed payment from
the government so it's very safe.

My credit rating, before my stroke, was 746, average but medical costs
have hit me very hard.
