大家好,

我是今年5月11号毕业的学生。学校的advisor说我最迟申请时间是毕业后2个月内，于是我在5月2号左右申请OPT，今天移民局说要我追加材料。我看到一种说法是必须要在毕业后2个月以内（7月10号）前拿到OPT，否则就要回国。
-Not really. You need to file the OPT application within 60 days after you graduated, and that does not mean your OPT has to be approved during that period pf time. So, you are fine because you have filed the OPT application.

By the way, you need to find a job within 90 days after the OPT approval. This job can be full- or part-time, paid or unpaid, or volunteer as long as the job is related to your study program/major.

我想请问大家有没遇到这种情况？是在2个月内申请还是要在2个月内申请到？
