请问，我有权利拒绝出庭作证吗？

我在德州，我们小区有个台湾人和她老公离婚，我们只是邻居，她也没有任何朋友。她要求我出庭作证她老公abuse她，但是我从来没看到过。今天她给我message说，她的律师会要求法庭强迫我出庭，我无任何权力拒绝。请问，真的是这样吗？那到时候我的孩子谁替我照顾？当然这不是我不去作证的主要原因，主要我对他们不熟并且对这个人没什么好印象。
