how to get back my one week pay from the recruiting agency?

Dear Friends,

I need advice on how to get my one week pay from the agency who helped recruited me to work for another employer on a contract (1099) basis. I was terminated after one week. but I have not gotten paid for that one week of work after two months have passed

I signed the contract with the agency who was supposed to run the payroll for me. but now it seems they are avoiding me and do not want to pay me.

please advise what legal avenue I should follow to force them to pay me.
