遇到一件烦心事

哥哥在国内有个女儿，父母也在国内。比较疼爱哥哥的女儿。我们生孩子了，需要照顾。父亲在没有通知我们的情况下要带哥哥的女儿出来，现在不知道什么意图，短期旅游还是另有打算，没有告诉我们。签证也签了，但我们没有邀请，不知道怎么签的，肯定用了我们的材料，但没有经过我们允许。 现在和父亲闹得有点僵，我们不同意他们带小孩现在来，因为忙不过来。他就很生气，要和我们断绝关系。

我想问下，在法律上，我会不会因为不受父母喜爱而无继承他们财产的权利？比如父母把财产留给哥哥？ 如果没有，我该如何才能分到财产。

现在想这个问题有点不厚道，但家里的故事太多，不能一一在这里讲明白，只能先问下各位了。
