medical insurance during divorce proceeding

ex asked me to cover insurance when we almost finish the divorce and sign the paper. She said she got serious medical condition and her insurance wouldn't cover it at all. It will delay the divorce if I dont agree. What the consequence if I agree or dont agree? Am I required to do so by law? I tend to agree for certain period, but afraid she will ask for more and never end......
