老貓不是做這個的,但是老貓會建議您看一下這個定義
所以除非您弟名詞涉及到任何新的PROCESS, MACHINE, manufacture, or composition of matter
所以您不能申請一個專利有關這個名詞 "人工製造活貓",但是如果您能發明一個機器或是一種方式來"制造活貓",您可以說,這個機器的名稱是"老貓氏貓咪製造機",那麼您應該可以申請一個專利....

§ 101. Inventions patentable

Whoever invents or discovers any new and useful PROCESS, MACHINE, manufacture, or composition of matter, or any new and useful improvement thereof, may obtain a patent therefor, subject to the conditions and requirements of this title
