所以不論您有什麼樣的理由,您的行為是不合法的.同時這是一個輕罪 (Misdemeanor)控罪,所以比違規停車(parking ticket)嚴重得多.

1.我想开庭前写信contest.按上面讲的呈述行吗?我(和LG)从没经历过官司,人老实,怕说不好反误事.写信是尽快写好,还是等到开庭前几天写好些?


您要寫給誰? 這不是中國,毛主席的一個條子就可以讓法官"你辦事我放心的" :-)


2.这种 contest 赢的可能性大吗?

這個老貓不敢說一定沒有用,但是您沒有買票上車是事實.
不論您有什麼理由,事實是您沒有買票就上了車....

3.若不能赢,我应争取什么样的deal 呢?

您的情況老貓會建議您向法官說明您不知道不能上車再補票,同時當時是您主動要求補票,希望他能夠只要求您付罰金就可以了...


4.若不能赢,这样的Infraction 会在我的record 上留多久呢? 我是software engineer,今后换工作时需添在表上吗?

您無需憂慮這個部份,如果您真有本事,沒有公司會在意這個問題的,您是否要提供這個資料給將來可能的僱主,這是你的決定,但是個人不會建議您太憂慮.
