老猫请帮助我：有被arrest的纪录，但是expunge掉了，再进入美国要承认吗？

我因为跟老婆打架，找来了警察，被arrest，charge我simple assault。两个月后dismiss 掉，我还做了expungement。事后我和老婆都很后悔。

我们是有绿卡的。我知道以后申请公民时，即使expunge掉的arrest纪录也要从实填写。但是不知道出境后再入境，质问会不会扫除我有记录，我该不该在回答表格have you been arrested or convicted...这一个问题是答yes。
如果答no，会不会被说成是撒谎，而招来更大的麻烦？
