假的 reference 会有什么影响

我的一个好朋友在找工作，要我给他出一个假的reference。 证明他曾在我的公司工作过。 可能因为我在一家大公司做事。 他觉得这个reference 比较有说服力。今天这个新公司email我，问我一些问题。我觉得比较为难。我担心会被我的公司发现， 但又很想帮他，因为他家就靠他的一份薪水。
