不知道这样合法么

因为工作关系。 我和先生都得离开我们的房子， 在新的工作地方租房子 （我们的地方也不同， 所以我们各在自己工作所在地租公寓）。我们原来自己的TOWNHOME 房子就要租出去了。

1. 我们自己房子的租金收入要交税的。 但我们付出的两个公寓的钱可以低税么？

2. 如果不能。 我想让租我TOWNHOME房子的人直接把支票写给我们住的公寓。 这样一来等于租我房子的人等于替我支付我和先生租住公寓的房租。也就是说在我的帐户上就没有显示出租收入。这样我就可以避免交额外的税了。 但不知道这样合法么？或者有其他方法么。
