bank savings interest tax?

Did anybody have experience of bank interest tax?
I just received a letter from Wachovia telling me that I should fill out a form to exempt from
Withholding of savings interest?

What should I do in such case?

In fact I have not much interest in my account; it’s not a big issue for me.
