Need help and advices

Sorry, I can only write in English.
We just setup a new e-commence website recently, do not have business yet. This morning there is one person sent to me an email and said they are going to sue us because our web name is very similar to theirs, there is only one word different.
While we setup everything legally, our web name is legally registered with state and federal office. And we never know or notice that there is another website's name silimiar to ours.
What should we do? Should we change our web name or it will be ok?
The guy was very rude in his email.
How do you think about it? Please give us some advices.
