homeimprovement 被contractor敲诈了

要卖房子，请了几个contractors估价，一个价格和其他人比，便宜一些。选了他。 付了一半估价的压金。做完活，要价翻一倍。他多写了很多labor时间。不是太懂，付押金的时候没要Lien Waiver。现在威胁要告我们。要申请Lien。 我们房子已经卖掉。我们有他估价和实际价钱的文件。请有经验的大虾指教该怎么办？
