刚刚收到的老师写的道歉信

Good Afternoon 8th Grade Parents,

The 8th graders had their short story test today and I think I made it a bit too long (yikes!). 

Your students were very well prepared for the test and I did allow them to use their study guides they made, but I did want to apologize (as I did to them), for not having the foresight to shorten it. I am, as always, very impressed by their thoroughness and analysis, as well as their patience with me. 

None of them gave me any complaints or were disrespectful in any way, but I did want to make you aware, in case they come home extra tired! Good news is, this is their last assignment for my class this quarter so they don't have any homework!

Anyways, wanted to reach out and make you all aware! I hope everyone has a very nice and relaxing spring break.
