有个有升学经验的大学生帮忙看文书，修改college essays就是不一样

老大在T3（HMS之一），当时自己搞申请，没请人。去年又帮了她的朋友们修改文书进了藤和LAC文理学院，和顶级科研夏校。她读理科专业，现在有学生请她修改文书，我和她说，家长喜欢请读文科的学生看文书，她说：what i think people get wrong is finding someone who’s in english when it’s actually better for someone who understands the technical stem stuff and how to properly curate that to AOs. 我觉得挺有道理的。

 

今年轮到老二申请，帮看文书。刚看了她给的意见，是我没考虑到的点，挺好的。其中一个建议如下：

i will ask a few questions about the overall package in case you may have overlooked it

- are there any extracurriculars or awards not explained in any of these essays or the common app essay? we want to make sure we maximize the number of layers that we illustrate through these essays to AOs. 

- similarly, are there any extracurriculars or awards that overlap between these essays and the common app essay?
