抽烟点火2次都点不着就不要点第三次了，(First World War Superstition)

when open a fresh pack of cigarettes, the first cigarette comes of the pack when you pull off the tin foil, flip it, and put it back in the package, and smoke it last, it's a 福根， if you don't make it the last of the pack, bad things will happen to you.  

don't ever put new shoes on the table, it's bad luck....
bad things always happen in 3....
if you spill the salt pick up a pinch and throw it over your shoulder.....
