First date: you go to an expensive restaurant. Nothing happens afterwards.
Second date: you go to an even more expensive restaurant. Nothing happens afterwards.
Third date: there's no third date, because you realize nothing will ever happen.

This is an old stereotype on Chinese girls (in the US) being very conservative sexually.
