婚姻篇（2）

你因没理性而结婚，因没耐性而离婚。因没记性而再婚。

You get married for lack of judgment---you get divorced for lack of patience, then you remarry for lack of memory.

 

婚姻是一种精心设计的游戏，让两个自私的人定期觉得他们并不自私。（以为自己在婚姻中是奉献的一方。）

Marriage is just an elaborate game that allows two selfish people to periodically feel that they are not.

 

人们若不因鸡毛蒜皮的原因而结婚，就不会因鸡毛蒜皮的原因而离婚。(草率结婚必定草率离婚。)

 

People wouldn’t get divorced for such trivial reasons if they didn’t get married for such trivial reasons.

婚姻是你老婆去发现她本来想找个什么男人的过程。（真的是恨不相逢未嫁时!）

Marriage is the process of finding out what kind of man your wife would have preferred.

 

影星嘉宝光是在婚姻殿堂的过道上走来走去就走了好几千英里。（连伊丽莎白泰勒都要甘拜下风！）

Zsa Zsa Garbor has logged millions of miles just walking up and down wedding aisles.

 

不管你长相如何，嫁给和自己年龄相仿的男人是明智之举。随着你的风华渐褪，他的视力也渐褪。（眼不见为净。）

Whatever you may look like, it’s wise to marry a man your own age. As your beauty fades, so will his eyesight.

 

因不爱男人而离婚，就和因爱男人而结婚一样愚蠢。（婚姻是爱的坟墓。离了婚岂不是死无葬身之地？）

Getting divorced just because you don’t love a man is almost as silly as getting married just because you do.

 

很少婚姻能够比家用电器保修期长的。（尤其是现在还有保修延长期呢。）

婚姻就象通宵营业的便利店。品种花样不多，可是在凌晨三点，它还是开门营业。（在那个时候谁都不会太挑剔的！）
