2007年4月26日，布什总统和夫人劳拉在白宫玫瑰花园参加“疟疾关注日”活动，布什总统及夫人劳拉被舞蹈演员邀请一起上台作即兴表演。布什兴致勃勃的敲打非洲鼓，并试图和舞蹈演员学跳非洲传统舞蹈。 （看第一夫人充满欣赏的眼神！布什的表情真不赖。）
