红雀在窗外

叼几下鸟食

消失在杨树里

膝盖上的书

没翻篇

有一阵风吹来往事

 

Beyond the glass, a cardinal Nabs a few grains of seed

Before disappearing among the poplar trees.

The book resting on my knees

Remains on the same page,

As a sudden breeze stirs old memories.
