司马绍的故事是真的。他爹有一次问他“长安何如日远”，长安比太阳哪个远？

司马绍回答曰“日远”，理由是“不闻人从日边来，居然可知”。

他爹觉得有意思，于是第二天上朝的时候把司马绍叫来，当着满朝文武的面又问了一遍，结果司马绍回答为“日近”，理由是“举目见日，不见长安”。

 

两次答语相反，而皆恰到好处！
