关于合金钢，看了一下2012 camry介绍，

大致是”increased use of high strength steel" and "first time use of ultra high strength steel"。前者说明toyota在这个给他们带来很大利润的车上，以前连HSS用的都少，后者说明UHSS没用过。

不太清楚其他日本厂家。
