My son who is 20 months old. We speak Chinese at home but the environment is in English. He apparently is very slow in speaking. But he understands at home and in school. We feel bad, too. We did not push him though.
He is still in diaper. My mom seems worried because the kids at this age in China are already know when to go to the restroom.
Are overseas Chinese kids are slower?
