Advice needed for hotels in Tokyo please.

Hi everybody, i am new to this forum and, also please forgive me for using English here, for I don't have the Chinese system in my computer...
Any way, am planning to visit Tokyo for 10 days probably from the 10th/June, and am having trouble finding a suitable hotel...Could anybody give some idea on the matter please? Both my hu*****and and I would like to do some shopping there...Would a price of USD100-150/night for 10 nights produce any good results in finding a good place to stay? What else would be fun/good to do in Tokyo during that period of time?...Many thanks in advance.
