this guy was trying to say" oh, I didn't get involved in the experiments and I simply helped polish the paper". He apparently tried to attribute the whole fault to Dr Obokata.

This is certainly tricky, but, to be honest, we couldn"t do anything on this guy although he is the 'boss' of Dr Obokata. Being a unit leader in RIKEN means Dr Obokata is an independent principal investigator (PI), who has to take the majority, if not all, of the responsibily for a project.

Back to this sneaky guy in the video, he is apparently unprofessional either, failing to check the paper thoroughly.

Let's see what kind of ending this funny drama will have in the future.
