In the peson 's post, the person already said "本人几年前曾被法院判misdemeanor." That obviously means he has been convicted.

From my understanding, expunge only applies to domestice issues, such as job hunting, credit history search, home mortgage background checking. But for immigration matter, there is no such thing called expunge.
