Ok, well it is a bit complicated, for example, I am in US but my famliy are in China, I get green card by NIW, now I want to them, my spouse and son, to jion with me, they can still do it without waiting for the immigration visa number (about 4-5 years for green card holder's family)the process is different it require interview in Gangzhou, and you will get a immigration visa. That's it. You may not believe, but it is true!!
