Thank you so much for giving me your opinion. So you do not think my PR application can be a problem for my work permit application, right?

I will be taking a postdoc position in an university. Do you know if a HRSDC labor market confirmation is needed for postdoc job? Also, could you please give me some idea on how long it may take to get a work permit and a temporary resident visa, assuming I have all the necessary documents ready to go? I appreciate your help.
