H1B extebtion beyond 6 years:

according to AC21, H1B can be extended under several conditions:
1. LC filing has passed 365 days, oR
2. I140 filing has passed 365 days

what if LC is approved under PERM , LC is quickly approved. let's say, LC is approved in June 2005, H1b need to be extended in July 2006. Due to cutoff date, I140 can't be filed, so in June , 2006, can we petition H1B extention?

Discuss this please. I am sure EB2 cut off date will be issued this year , may be aroubd August, many people will be affected .
