F1 毕业opt是3个月还是1年？能延迟OPT开始时间多长时间而又能保持身份呢？

1.F1 毕业opt是3个月还是1年

a. 我的理解是： 毕业以后一年时间opt, 期间要开始申请h1b, 然后等明年三月h1b抽签.

b. 有人理解是毕业以后三个月找工作， 找到以后再是1年的OPT

哪个理解是对的？

 

2. 延迟OPT开始时间

现在工作不好找， 我想尽量延期OPT开始时间， 最多能延迟多少， 而又能保持身份呢 ?
