刚给父母办了结婚证公证（申请绿卡用），但是申请人上是母亲（用母亲的那一份结婚证办的）。父亲的名字只出现在英文翻译的“marriage certificate”上。请问这样的公证能用来给父亲申请绿卡吗？

-Yes, it is fine. But I am curious that the marriage certificate (Chinese version) should contain both your mother's and father's names in the description part even if your mother holds it, right?
