8 老师，本人身份是 H1B，485 pending，家人是H4, 485 pending.
本人刚刚换了工作，H1B transfer 到新的公司，H1B 身份延续到 2023年。但是家属的 H4 没有同时 transfer，家属最近的H4 身份不是在美国境内更换的，是在大使馆签证，入境获得，I-94到2022年。但是家属的EAD卡到今年8月过期。
请教您的问题是：
1. 这种情况下，怎样确保家属合法身份延续？-Your spouse' H-4 is still valid until the current H-4 I-94 expires (i.e. 2022). Then, the H-4 can be extended in advance up to 180 days before it expires. Do nothing at this point.
2. 家属可以用本人新公司的H1B批准书，申请EAD延期吗？-Yes. But why just apply for the I-485 based EAD to work to save money? I-485 based EAD is free.
还是必须也要换成本人现在公司sponsor 下的H4? -Not need.
