请教8老师，我男朋友和我打算今年8月结婚。但是现在有空想把J-1豁免现在办了。我是一直是自费的，现在j-1做博后；打算向中国大使馆申请no objection statement。

如果我以结婚做理由，现在还没有结婚，拿别的什么材料证明比较有效？我男朋友写一个statement可以么？附上一些照片之类的。

-Marriage is not relalted to J-1 waiver, so if you use this as the J-1 waive rreason, probably it will not be accepted by the Chinese Embassy or US Department of State and USCIS.

另一个办法是要现在的导师写信，只是含糊的说会支持我的职位（并不明确说支持h1b），这样的支持信有用吗？

-J-1 waiver is for H-1 status and/or green card application. Otherwise, you don't need to get J-1 waiver.
