请教8老师：帮父母申请绿卡，有要求父母来没3个月才能提出申请吗？

我今天宣誓，父母上周来美。

有同事说父母来美三个月才能开始申请。

我在网站上没找到这个要求啊。

请教8老师和各位大侠，我到底现在可以开始申请吗？
