正在为父母申请绿卡，有几个问题想要求教 8 老师
- 我父亲与我母亲结婚前，曾有另外一段婚姻。这段婚姻只维持了几个月，就因女方在一次事故中触电死亡而终结，这件事故发生在 1962 年，因事隔久远，现在已经找不到任何死亡证明书之类的文件，当时的中国政府好像也没出具死亡证明。我父亲和女方的家人也已经没有任何的联系了。我父亲和我母亲在 1968 年结婚。I-130 表的 Instruction 说如果被申请人有前段婚姻，必须提供前段婚姻合法结束的证明，我们目前无法提供任何证明。是否有必要写个 STATEMENT 跟 USCIS 解释？-You don't need to provide your father's prior wife death certificate and not need to write a statement because it is not your father to sponsor your mother's green card. Just put her name in the form Part C, item 11, and write "dceased" next to her name like: XXXX (decease).
