我父母是绿卡持有者。去年6-17-2014回国。原本打算去年11月返回美国。但是我母亲10月底生病住院。住院期间经历骨折，胆囊结石切除胆囊。今年4月出院。但因使胸骨骨折，还是不能长时间久坐。现在快要到一年了，是不是6-17-2015以前不会来，绿卡就作废了了？
-Your father has to return to US before June 17, 2015. But if your mother can not return to US on time, she needs to go to the US Consulate to apply for the SB-1 visa by providing the evidences of her illness which prevents her from returning to US on time. SB-1 visa can reinstate her green card. 

怎样才能保住绿卡？
