各位老师，现在我们家关于 H签证renew有个困惑，请帮忙看一下，多谢。

我的 H1-b签证今年7月底到期，所以现在正在办理H1-b签证的renew petition。

问题出在我老婆的身份上了。

她的H4签证当然也是随我的到期日expire，也是今年七月底。
不过她5月份就要回国和家人呆上3个月，然后8月再回美国学习生活。

我老婆去年12月回国呆过2个月，那时候去大使馆办过H4签证，所以护照上的签证是一年有效入境。

那她现在这个情况是我给她一起办H4 renew呢？还是不办？
-Not need. The H-4 extension is useless because she will leave US in May. After your H-1 extension is approved, you just mail the new H-1 approval notice to her, then she can use the H-1 approval notice with her H-4 visa to re-enter US. You had better send her your latest 3 month paycheck stubs.


不明白的困惑点：
1. 我若不给她办 H4 renew, 那她是不是只要等到5月回国以后去美国大使馆重新申请H4-签证，就能8月份再会来？

2. 我若现在同时也给她办H4 renew, 那她5月回国，8月再回来的时候需不需要再去大使馆重新申请 H-4签证？
-Not need to get a new visa because her previous H-4 visa does not expire yet when she returns to US.

（我不确定她护照上的一年有效是不是还能用，因为她上一轮的H4 status照理已经失效了）
-Yes, the visa is still valid because she will leave US before her current H-4 I-94 expires.


请指点一下，这样的情况，我们应该怎样做才稳妥？谢谢
