我的情况是绿卡己快五年，近一两年基本在中国照顾年迈久病的母亲。己住满34个月。从13年下半年基本上半年内回美一月左右又回中国。问题是:1.递交了N400后是否必须留在美国境内直至公民批复？
-Not need, but had better not stay outside US for > 180 days continuously.

2.可在境外让家人递材料N400，收到打指纹后返美。然后离美收到面试通知后再返美呢？
-There is not limitation to file N-400 when you are physically outside US, but still you had better file it when you are in US, then you can travel and come back to do the fingerprinting and interview.

3:在居住时间上我符合条件吗？
-If you have not stayed outside US continuously for > 18 days during the last 5 years, you will be fine; if > 180 days one year, you are not qualified for N-400 filing.
