In reality, anything can occur, but we here discussion is based on the current immigration law/policy. We believe the immigration officer is following the law to do their job though sometimes they may make mistakes. So, when we google, we nearly don't find the complain cases about the TN application denial just due to I-140 filing/approval since 2008, instead, you can find many comments on that I-140 filing/approval does not affect TN application online. I don't know how you make the conclusion "你所认得的有I-140的成功续签者,是从门缝挤过来的少数幸运者,更多的是被挡在门外,留在加拿大了,他们不在你身...". Of course, caution is always needed for immigration cases, as you emphasized.
