回复：8 and 皮老师，why my 485 got approved without FP ?

I got mail below today, 485 has been approved and mailed to me. But I did not take FP yet recently. Is this normal?

-Do you mean you have never done any biometrics for your I-485 after you filed I-485? If so, that is weird.

I am a H1b visa holder, did take FP two years ago when I renew my H1b in Vancouver airport, did USCIS use that FP for my 485?

-No. The fingerprinting you did in the airport was not for I-485.
