再问PJ和8老师

My situation:

I am EB2 with PD 3/27/2007. My original I140 has been approved in 2008 and the I140 amendment was approved this August due to company merger. I submitted my I485 with RD 8/19/2011. My EAD/AP has been approved 10/11/2011. Now the company is closing the office with my official last day last Friday (12/2/2011). My current H1B will expire 1/8/2012. I talk with company immigration coordinator and attorney (Fragomen) and was told that they won't withdraw my approved I-140 but they are going to withdraw H-1B within 30 days.

My questions are:

1. If I'm lucky enough to get a new job very soon, do I use my EAD or tell the new employer to apply H1B for me.

2. I've already used up 6 years H1, can I use the approved I140 to apply 3 years?

3. I know I am desperate, hence I may be dreaming  but if there is any way to slow the I485 process so that I can pass 180 days mark?
