But I have already reached my 6 years H1 limit (started January 2004) and I have used approved I140 to get 3 years before.  Does this mean even I can find a new job, I can only use EAD and pray for the best

-Then you can use this I-140 to continue your extension at 3 years interval any time in the furtue (the 6 year limit does not apply to you anymore). Of course, you can use EAD also if you want to.
