-If he filed his I-485 based on this approved EB2 I-140 and the I-485 was pending for > 180 days when he left the I-140 sponsor (change job), his I-485 will beOK and you can transfer your I-485 to his I-140 as his derivative status even if the I-140 was withdrawn. If he did not file his I-485 based on this EB2 I-140 and he changed his job, the I-140 is void and both you can not use it.
