I'm applying for voluntary part-time work

and unpaid leave. I explained to my employer that my health condition is not good recently and need reduce work load and thus work half time. They are not sure about the regulation. Right now I am actually working on hourly base. If I work 50 hours in this week, the employer will pay me 50 hours for this week. If I work 10 hours in this week, I will get paid for 10 hours job. If I only work and claim 1 hour, I will be paid for 1 hour job. Really confused. Thanks for your reply, teacher 8, anyway.
