I-140批了后到中国，如公司不肯转consular processing,能自己办么

I-140批了，外派到中国工作，如果在中国时候priority date become current, 可以自己转consular processing,不经过公司么？公司不太愿意这么做，要求回到美国回到原来的position 去file 485
