Last night, my wife, son and I all got approval emails of our I-485s. Thank you very much for your help through those months. I have two more questions for my son. He is a college student with an F1 status. From this semester, he started his part-time TA work on campus (2 hours a week). Now he has a green card. What does he have to do to his college? I think that he needs to inform the college because his TA job is based on his F1 student status. That is right? The second is that we did not inform the college for his I485 application when we filed it. If we tell this to the college now, could it cause any problem? I worry that during his I485 pending (past two months), he was still working on his part-time TA on campus. Is this working legal? I am wondering what his status is during his I-485 pending. F1 or AOS?
