I am responding to my 485 RFE. For the last few days, you have given me a lot help on most questions. I really appreciate it.
Now in my response, I am writing the part of why I had no I94 card issued back from Canada.
-Because the RFE just asked you to provide the I-94s and the visas before you filed I-485, you do not need to mention the trip to Canada. Actually, your trip to Canada is not counted as a new admitted entry to US because you used the visa automatic revalidation rule and did not get a new I-94 (it is equal to your using old visa and old I-94-no change I-94# and duration). My first response to your initial post was inaccurate due to you did not provide enough details in your case in that post.
Some questions are appearing to my mind. Is it typical (or often) that no new I-94 is issued to those who drive back from Canada and are admitted under "automatic revalidation rule"? Shall we have some way to get some evidence to demonstrate that we are lawfully admitted? Now in my writing, I feel difficult to say I was lawfully admitted because I have no evidence (no stamp on passport and no I-94) for that.Sigh
